Rebiblican Party logo (c)2009

We are going forth with the term “Rebiblican” from now on when we refer to Political Domionist candidates. This is not limited to those who run as republicans. There are rebiblicans who run as democrats, independents, libertarian and even as in the case recently of Doug Hoffman in NY 23 – as a conservative party candidate. Though most closely associated with republicans, they are political chameleons who hold no allegiance other than to their Political Dominionist dogma.

In the world of Political Dominionism, they like to view themselves as “going stealth”, although they openly advocate running their candidates under ANY party flag just so long as they win. They rely on the general populace paying attention to surface level politicking, and not really going deeper into the background and true ideologies of the candidates.

In Hoffman’s case this wasn’t so, given that he clearly aligned himself to the hard right and looney teabaggers agenda. In Seattle, Washington a Rebiblican candidate named Susan Hutchison was trickier for most to identify…and with good reason. 1) as a general rule as I said above, most voters do not truly dig into the identity of the candidate and will often take the surface rhetoric as sufficient information to base their votes on; 2) Hutchison worked to craft a change in the status of that elected position in the past to make it a non-partisan post, thereby allowing a candidate (namely her in this case) to run as a “moderate” and not be pinned down by specifics.

The great news? She lost…and lost by a wide margin…58% t0 42%, and that was after leading in the polls a week prior to the election. It took an all out effort by several of us to write about who this Rebiblican candidate is and what her real beliefs are on social issues. The resulting victory for her opponent shows without question that the majority of us do NOT want Rebiblicans in office who will legislate their version of ‘c’hristian values and morality. This is a victory…and we need to view as a confirmation that we are doing something right.

She is in reality as “moderate” as Virginia Rebiblican Bob McDonnell, who won his bid for the governor’s office. Contrary to the brain-dead reporting by mainstream media sources on both sides, McDonnell won more because the democratic candidate was a weak candidate, and McDonnell put out enough propaganda that he is a “moderate” that people bought it. This guy is a textbook example of a Rebiblican!

Even the so-called liberal media outlets are spewing pundit rhetoric about how this was a show of strength for the GOP and a threat to the democrats. Excuse me? Why? Because of two governors races? I beg to differ! Case in point…this excerpt from the Washington Post….

Contests Serve as Warning to Democrats: It’s Not 2008 Anymore

Washington Post Nov. 4th, 2009

“Tuesday’s elections provided the first tangible evidence that Republicans can win their support with the right kind of candidates and the right messages. That is an ominous development for Democrats if it continues unabated into next year. But Republicans could squander that opportunity if they demand candidates who are too conservative to appeal to the middle.” ~ Dan Balz

With help like this from the liberal media…well you know the end of that statement. I am simply saying that contrary to the “sky-is-falling” entertainment version of the news, democrats fared far better than the Rebiblicans from coast to coast. So why the sensationalism and exaggerated reporting? Did it really go unnoticed that we gained seats in Congress?

I have to force myself to watch the punditry on CNN with as much angst as I do to listen to Fox. It appears that there is zero obligation to actually tell the truth, rather it is pure entertainment and the rules are – that there are no rules. It is pure self-adulation by the mutual admiration society by pseudo-celebrities who masquerade as news reporters.

This is serious. We have to take it seriously. We have to use our brains and not take the lazy way out. We really have to second question just who these people are and who their backers are, where they are springing up from, and ask the tough questions. If we don’t we will lose the majority in 2010.

There will be many antics cropping up as we edge closer and closer to the 2010 elections. And do NOT overlook your local elections. They often get overlooked because campaigns for school board, city seats and county elections just don’t hold the same intrigue as state and federal office. They just lack that sex appeal that garners a closer look, but I assure you this is where a lot of this gets started and then festers.

We want to spread the word far and wide - Rebiblican - so please use it as often as possible, because that is who they are. Let’s help the secular Republicans reclaim their Party and get back to discourse without personal attacks and bible-thumping!

Whether overtly, or by omission, interest in having Sarah Palin endorse you as a candidate is about as popular as whether or not to get the H1N1 vaccination. Is it going to hurt you more than help you? If you are a republican candidate that is debatable.

This debate is going to increase as we grow nearer to the 2010 elections, bandied about like a hot potato juggling act! After all, look at what is already occurring…after Sarah Palin and others came out endorsing the ‘true conservative’, Doug Hoffman in the NY 23 congressional race, his campaign coffers swelled immediately by over $116,000 on the heels of Palin’s endorsement.

Dede Scozzafava, the republican candidate for the NY 23 seat (who was by-passed by Palin) in a shocking move just two days before the election not only withdrew from the race but took it one step further, throwing her support and endorsement of the democratic candidate, Bill Owens. Hoffman, is running as an independent ‘Conservative Party of NY’ candidate and claimed that Scozzafava was too liberal.

Look for this to happen with more frequency. They are represented by the extreme politics of the “Wingnuts on Parade” – Palin, Dick Armey, Fred Thompson Gov. Tim Pawlenty(R) Minn. (land o’ Bachman) and others…

…not to mention the hysterical Fox duo, Beck and Hannity with their wound-tight pal Limbaugh weighing in to support Hoffman as well. Hoffman even signed on in support of Glenn Beck’s 9/12 Project!

Hoffman pledges Beck’s articulated “Values” & “Principles”. Wow! Are these the same “values” that Palin’s robo-calls to Virginia voters were about? You betcha!

Soooo…what is really going on here? Even the eye-of-Newt recognizes this is not happenstance,

“This was not an isolated amateur; this is an entire movement.” Mr. Gingrich said.”

We have to be more aware now than ever as these “independent” candidates begin their campaigns to unseat democrats AND moderate republicans in the upcoming elections. There are many who think I am exaggerating the courtship the extreme Political Dominionists are having with the idea of forming a more conservative 3rd Party. (Of course, we know that “more conservative” means a biblical basis for the direction they are pursuing.)

Hoffman now claims Conservative Party of New York to make his point and subvert the GOP candidate. This is not to say it is affiliated with the American Conservative Party, of course…

“Doug Hoffman is a candidate for the Conservative Party of New York State (CPNYS), NOT the American Conservative Party (ACP), which is a separate entity. “We’re not one and the same organization. There is no official affiliation between the ACP, formed in 2008 and the Conservative Party of New York State, founded in 1962,” said Mr. Domino.

The ACP claims members from the GOP, LP and even DP parties. The CP claims some LP, while the LP definitely claims CP AND RP. (See footnote of post for full name list…head-shaking)

In the meantime, this game of party affiliation shell-shuffling will continue to get more and more absurd. How many more organizational party names ARE we going to see emerge? Even Palin must recognize that calling it the “Palin Party” is limiting. But I certainly don’t want to discourage Palin and her ilk from working diligently in a push to provide “her Sheeples” with a new platform from which to spring forward.

Politically secular republicans (psRs) are coming out and touting their shame for this debacle. They are not only embarrassed, but disgusted with the embracing of these narcissistic personalties who have drug the two-party system into a mud wrestling pit. Hopefully this will inspire them to rally together and reclaim their party from this nonsense.

The list is growing! So I thought I would just help them along and offer a term -

Rebiblican Party Logo (c)2009

Rebiblican Party!

And we have already created a logo…

Hey! It is a “one-stop” party for all these concerned “patriots”. They could all get together and throw their common rhetoric into the “party-pool” under one hat that says it all!

Pulease, Sarah! Go 3rd! Go 3rd! Go 3rd!

It could be seamless…Rebiblican Party (RP) aka God’s Own Party (GOP). Perfect! Get ‘er done!

Republican Party (RP) aka Grand Ol’ Party (GOP)

Democratic Party (DP)

Liberarian Party (LP)

Constitution Party (CP)

American Conservative Party (ACP)
