This project was the brainstorm of a good friend, fellow researcher and social justice activist, Nicole Nichols. She is also co-host on The Forward Blitz Blog Talk Radio Show where I am a frequent guest discussing Dominionism in American Politics. Nicole is becoming more alarmed with each passing day as we unearth the ReBiblicans who steeple-jacked the Republican Party two decades ago. She is dedicated to exposing these folks with the same sense of urgency that I am burdened with everyday.
Exposure is their kryptonite and we are spreading it like fairy dust. Support of these political candidates comes from a population of low-information voters in America that not only have the power to vote, but they show up, all the while bringing their religious zealotry into the mix, knowing as little about the Bible as they do about American politics and Civics 101.
November 6th – Election Day – is but a mere 4 weeks from tomorrow and there is no better time than now to share with you the first part of the list of candidates in every state that qualify as extremists. These candidates believe that we are a Christian nation and that separation of church and state is an evil created by secular humanists from the Dark Side – aka the Left.
I share Nicole’s concerns and we tire of hearing people respond to our concerns with comments such as, “Oh…there can’t be that many of them”, or “this seems a bit exaggerated” and so on. Let me assure you, we both have far better things we would rather be doing than researching extremism, immersing ourselves in this dark world everyday. The last thing that either of us would do is contrive this insanity – and like the saying goes, “You can’t make this stuff up!”
Take a look at this list and judge for yourselves how few you think are engaged in theocratic politics in America. If we don’t show up – they will win. Everything from women’s health issues, the passage of personhood acts, de-regulation of industries, greater tax burdens for the non-wealthy, privatization and Christianization of public education, heightened military conflict in accordance with a biblical perspective, slashing minimum wage laws, eliminating social security and medicare, the future of what our Supreme Courts will look like, the gutting of programs that help the poor…the indigent…and the downtrodden including school lunch programs and Head Start for the most vulnerable among us – and so many more – will be the reality in America.

The sheer number of these ultra-conservative candidates, both new to politics and incumbent, is mind-boggling! Stay tuned for Part II in this series that exposes the extremists running in 2012 under the skirts of the Republican Party.
We have not completed this list but we are getting closer. If you do not see your state in this post, I guarantee that we will be getting to it very soon. As you can see, just getting through California has created a lengthy article so we are breaking it up while we complete the research. This includes 56 candidates and we will make the next one represent approximately that same number, but we promise to have them all available in the next week in this series.
This is no longer simple partisan politics…it is democracy fighting theocracy and every single vote counts! Please do your part, your civic duty, and show up…because we know that they will.

WHY YOU SHOULD VOTE YES ON PROP 37!!
People need to KNOW what they are eating in their foods no matter what the cost! Why do you think there is more CANCER now than ever?? FOOD THEY EAT CAUSES CANCER!

I can absolutely vouch for this site and all the hard work they do. I have also done the same type of research and believe it, you can get lost in all the twists and turns. Some of the research also takes you into some dark places and for me, I have to stop and take a break in some of those instances. It is absolutely impossible to go into the kind of detail that Robert S is asking for because it would take a book as big as the Bible to complete it all, or perhaps a tome like Rushdoony’s Institutes of Biblical Law (over 1800 pages) to fit it all in.
If you find you absolutely cannot believe what you read here, then do your own research. Just from this article, I could find a multitude of searches to do if I were to start all over again. Or perhaps you are one who has to see it, then go to Bethel Church in Redding CA. They will fill you in on the signs and wonders of their theology. Go to Rick Warren’s church and listen to his supposed christian viewpoint all the while he and Robertson and other like people are setting up fronts in Africa to force anit-gay law after their success in Uganda and other parts of Africa, resulting in LGBT being hunted down like animals.

These people are real and if people continue to shut their eyes to their existence, you will know it for sure when you refuse to convert and are persecuted. You see no one is persecuting evangelicals in this country but I can guarantee if they gain power, they will persecute you unless you believe as you are told. But you don’t have to believe me or Nicole and Leah here, experience it for yourself and if you are still standing, come on back and tell us how it went, if you are still standing is the operative word here.
How perfect a response is this? Thank you so much for that! And…if you are still standing, I can guarantee that you will be on very shakey footing! I could have written volumes on each one of these entries, but the urgency of the situation just prohibits it.
I know Nicole that is why I spoke up. I would normally just read the piece to add to my knowledge but I had to speak up on that one knowing the degree of detail it takes to follow these people. Tell Leah I said hi too. Also nice to meet you as well.
I do not believe that Emily’s List endorsed Elizabeth Emken. Please check, and if it’s a mistake, correct the post. If it’s not in error, I have to ask, WTF were they thinking?
Thinking about this further, I think you may have confused Emily’s List with Maggie’s List. Please check it out. I’m looking forward to Part II and beyond. Thank you for doing this work; someone must.
You are absolutely correct, Zyxomma. Thank you, I will make the correction.
Thank you, Nicole. That really bugged me!
Good work. I hope to see Florida extremists among your list, although that probably would almost overwhelm your site.
I’ve been getting some of the “They’re not that bad” and “Conspiracy Theory nuts” too – a couple of people said that the evidence we post could be very easily faked and one of the two also insisted that the evidence was unbelievable for that reason. (I guess if the mainstream news doesn’t say it, it can’t be real and must be conspiracy theory ‘stuff’.)
Others don’t want the subject discussed because “It is so NEGATIVE!”. I just about replied “If you think this is negative, wait until they win and you find you have no rights left whatsoever – and they start punishing you for the slightest infraction!”
It is true that for some it has to be so blatantly obvious that it cannot be ignored, but we refuse to turn a blind eye to it. Non-fiction reality disturbs people and yet fiction doom and gloom sells like blockbusters!
The Florida list is HUGE and will be available shortly. I’m hoping that when people see this completed list it will drive home the magnitude of the problem we are dealing with across this nation. Those who believe that we are speaking of only a handful of people, really don’t get how prolific this situation is.
See my comment below. I went there
Yeah. It can not only get very depressing, but also terrifying when you realize how vicious and mean and deceitful those “good Christians” really are.
I “live there”, sad to say, and as Leah and Dogemperor can testify (they’ve seen some of the evidence), those monsters are also very willing to commit violence. Leah has pictures of when she was curbed, they torched my electronics workshop, poisoned some of our kitties (over the years), threatened my elderly parents, and stalked both of us on a few occasions – all because I wrote letters in opposition to their hateful beliefs and actions. (Some of the things they’re saying now are what I remember hearing thirty years ago when I was dominionist – like stoning rebellious kids. It’s only starting to come to the surface now.)
It would be useful to have a list of people who have directly suffered violence at their hands because of opposition to dominionist goals. My “meat world” friends know of the violence we’ve suffered and they also know I avoid lying and deceit like a Pentecostal claims to avoid sin. Others… they find it incredible or refuse to believe, even when given evidence such as pictures.
OK, sure they’re right-wingers. But what, in particular, makes them shine as ReBiblicans? Do they sit on a Science committee and declare that the Earth is 6,000 years old? (Broun) Do they claim god talks to them? (Bachmann) . Do they claim that constitutional rights come from God? Some of the stuff you have for Duncan Hunter is closer to what I mean.
In short – MORE DATA. Less implication more explicit instances of behavior.
Robert, I appreciate your thirst for more knowledge but the time it takes to put together even a synopsis for a list like this is hugely demanding. Most who have been reading God’s Own Party? understand that our research exposes those who qualify as ReBiblican and not simply Republicans who I would love to see come in and take their Party back. We volunteer our time to do all we can to share information and give others a starting point so that they can learn more. We do not have the manpower and resources to do the type of in-depth expose that you are seeking, but thankfully, the internet provides such a wealth of information right at our finger-tips.
Robert
I can understand your reluctance to believe what is written here, I mean after all aren’t all Christians models of society? I would say look around you at people who claim to be Christians. Do their actions reflect a person who is a follower of Christ? What would Christ say for any particular activity they are involved in? That would answer your questions right there. Christ was not a soldier with Che Guevara bullet belts across his chest, he was a kind and peaceful man or as some called him the Prince of Peace. That alone would give me pause with many of these people.
You might want to add Charlie Fuqua in Arkansas. He believes that unruly children should be put to death. He’s anti-abortion but he’s ok with killing a child who disrespects.
Thank you for that recommendation. We will gladly look into Fuqua!
Oh…Mr. Charlie will definitely be on the list. Charlie, however, is running for a state office which will be an entirely different list. Thanks MB for reminding me of him.
