2012 GOP Voter Guide of ReBiblican Candidates – Part V

Update: Today’s post includes national candidates from New York through Oklahoma. and will soon have the entire 50 states represented in our list. With each post I include the same introduction from the first post for those who may be seeing this one first which gives the background that motivated us to undertake this project. Please go back to Parts I IIIII and IV to see the candidates listed in those states if you have not yet seen them.

This project takes an unbelievable amount of time so we are posting them here in blocks as quickly as we can over the following days so that you all have access to the profiles before election day – less than 4 weeks from away. We have had requests to include state-level candidates and if we have time we will do what we can to do a future series addressing that. If you know of names in your states, please submit them to us for review and we will do what we can.

We also appreciate that many states have early voting so we are working quickly to get these out. To save time we are foregoing inserting the images and may go back after completing all 50 states and pug them in. For now it is of the utmost important to get this list published.

This is the brainstorm of a good friend, fellow researcher and social justice activist, Nicole Nichols. She is also co-host on The Forward Blitz Blog Talk Radio Show where I am a frequent guest discussing Dominionism in American Politics. Nicole has joined me in becoming more alarmed with each passing day as we unearth the ReBiblicans who steeple-jacked the Republican Party two decades ago. She is dedicated to exposing these folks with the same sense of urgency that I am burdened with everyday.

Exposure is their kryptonite and we are spreading it like fairy dust. Support of these political candidates comes from a population of low-information voters in America that not only have the power to vote, but they show up, all the while bringing their religious zealotry into the mix, knowing as little about the Bible as they do about American politics and Civics 101.

November 6th – Election Day – is less than 4 weeks away and there is no better time than now to share with you this series that list candidates in every state who unquestionably qualify as extremists. These candidates believe that we are a Christian nation and that separation of church and state is an evil created by secular humanists from the Dark Side – aka the Left.

We both hear people respond to our concerns with comments such as, “Oh…there can’t be that many of them”, or “this seems a bit exaggerated” and so on. Let me assure you, we both have far better things we would rather be doing than researching extremism, immersing ourselves in this dark world everyday. The last thing that either of us would do is contrive this insanity – and like the saying goes, “You can’t make this stuff up!”

Take a look at this list and judge for yourselves how few you think are engaged in theocratic politics in America. If we don’t show up – they will win. Everything from women’s health issues, the passage of personhood acts, de-regulation of industries, greater tax burdens for the non-wealthy, privatization and Christianization of public education, heightened military conflict in accordance with a biblical perspective, slashing minimum wage laws, eliminating social security and medicare, the future of what our Supreme Courts will look like, the gutting of programs that help the poor…the indigent…and the downtrodden including school lunch programs and Head Start for the most vulnerable among us – and so many more – will be the reality in America.

  1. Zyxomma says:

Amazing that so many of them pretend to want “small” government — yeah, small enough to drown in a uterus.

    • Leah says:

Small on the issues that they take issue with which are counter to their biblical world views…yet, as you point out…they would fully fund additional government to police our bedrooms, bodies and more. The hypocrisy is glaring!
