Update: Today’s post includes national candidates from Minnesota through New Mexico. We are now working on the second to last segment that will end with all 50 states represented. I am including the introduction once again from the first post for those who may being seeing this one first which gives the background that motivated us to undertake this project. Please go back to Parts I, II and III to see the candidates listed in those states if you have not yet seen them.
This project takes an unbelievable amount of time so we are posting them here in blocks as quickly as we can over the following days so that you all have access to the profiles before election day – less than 4 weeks from away. We have had requests to include state-level candidates and if we have time we will do what we can to do a future series addressing that. If you know of names in your states, please submit them to us for review and we will do what we can.
We also appreciate that many states have early voting so we are working quickly to get these out. To save time we are foregoing inserting the images and may go back after completing all 50 states and pug them in. For now it is of the utmost important to get this list published.
This is the brainstorm of a good friend, fellow researcher and social justice activist, Nicole Nichols. She is also co-host on The Forward Blitz Blog Talk Radio Show where I am a frequent guest discussing Dominionism in American Politics. Nicole has joined me in becoming more alarmed with each passing day as we unearth the ReBiblicans who steeple-jacked the Republican Party two decades ago. She is dedicated to exposing these folks with the same sense of urgency that I am burdened with everyday.
Exposure is their kryptonite and we are spreading it like fairy dust. Support of these political candidates comes from a population of low-information voters in America that not only have the power to vote, but they show up, all the while bringing their religious zealotry into the mix, knowing as little about the Bible as they do about American politics and Civics 101.
November 6th – Election Day – is less than 4 weeks away and there is no better time than now to share with you this series that list candidates in every state who unquestionably qualify as extremists. These candidates believe that we are a Christian nation and that separation of church and state is an evil created by secular humanists from the Dark Side – aka the Left.
We both hear people respond to our concerns with comments such as, “Oh…there can’t be that many of them”, or “this seems a bit exaggerated” and so on. Let me assure you, we both have far better things we would rather be doing than researching extremism, immersing ourselves in this dark world everyday. The last thing that either of us would do is contrive this insanity – and like the saying goes, “You can’t make this stuff up!”
Take a look at this list and judge for yourselves how few you think are engaged in theocratic politics in America. If we don’t show up – they will win. Everything from women’s health issues, the passage of personhood acts, de-regulation of industries, greater tax burdens for the non-wealthy, privatization and Christianization of public education, heightened military conflict in accordance with a biblical perspective, slashing minimum wage laws, eliminating social security and medicare, the future of what our Supreme Courts will look like, the gutting of programs that help the poor…the indigent…and the downtrodden including school lunch programs and Head Start for the most vulnerable among us – and so many more – will be the reality in America.

More to come – Part V will be up tomorrow beginning with New York. This is no longer simple partisan politics between liberals and progressives – democrats vs. republicans – it is…

Hey Leah?
Where the hell is MINNESOTA? We do have Michele Bachmann ( for which I deeply apologize)
but what about the others?
Thank you! Again, we are so grateful to our readers for alerting us to these posting errors. I assure you that even though in our haste to get this information posted, we are not hasty about our vetting of these candidates. Minnesota does have quite the gallery…no apologies…remember, I am a 4th generation Alaskan that was recently embarrassed around the globe by one Mrs. Sarah Palin..ahem.
Oh…I added Minnesota to the top of Part IV, and we will be compiling all 50 states into one giant post as soon as we complete the listing.
Thank you for the GOP run down for New Mexico. I was not (nor do I foresee ever again doing so) going to vote for a single Republican but it is nice to know how really bad they are.
Great point! This is not only a list to warn off moderate republicans who believe in the separation of church and state, but to emphasize how many of these candidates exist and illustrate that this is not a mere smattering of a few candidates here and there. This is national and becoming epidemic.
I knew it was bad, but this makes it clear what the agenda realy is. some of us have been
sleeping and don’t understand how dangerous this is, we must find some way to bring
it to everyones attention even after this election.
Your reaction is exactly what we are hoping for as we do this work…and I just stated in response to another comment that…”after this election we will continue to grow these lists and will post them here at God’s Own Party? as well as include them in the “A-List” category on http://www.leahslist.info where we currently have 851 entries that include hundreds of seated politicians. I have made Leah’s List free so that it has the greatest chance of success. Success for me means that people read and spread this information as far and wide as possible.”
We couldn’t agree with you more! Please share this site and Leah’s List.info to as many people as you can. We have spent years making every effort we know to make this information available. I can’t tell you how heartening it is that you let us know that you are listening.
