Thanks – but no thanks! I just don't have the stomach to watch her for so long. I'm perfectly happy to let others, with stronger stomachs, watch and report back. I got a good look at the closeups on her hand, though.

I know…it's a tough one to stomach! But it is that old…"know thy enemy" obligation. There are many unsavory tasks involved in fighting hate and ignorance…too many.
I am gobsmacked. I made myself watch that debacle last night. I was in the Mudflats Forum chat room and we all agreed that she was looking at her hand. Then, within an hour the internet was abuzz with the words on her hand.
Thank God my President also was on CSPAN right afterward.
She's a fraud and an ignoramus. It's time to go after the machine that supports this puppet. Oh and McCain. He needs to pay.
I can only hope the legal system is intact and is preparing to make some legitimate accusations of wrongdoing. Ones we all know exist. It's not about the ethics of her administration, but it's about the illegal activities she and her husband, and apparently family, engaged in over many years' time. I've been waiting since shortly after she was picked as VP nominee to see her charged within the law. I smelled how disingenuous she was at the very moment she opened her mouth. There are plenty of skeletons in her closet, but I want to see the pink handcuffs.
The Dominionist agenda came up in that teabagger event. The AIP agenda came up in the speech, too. Both scare the bejeezes out of me.
Writing notes on your hand was defined as "Cheating" when I was in school. When did it get to be approved practice for people who are supposed to be examples for our kids to emulate? Particularly when the "Hilbilly Teleprompter" is on the hand of a putative Christian.
She is evil. We have to endure her fake empathy, and fake speeches, and fake hair, and fake intelligence and fake motherhood and fake "poorness", and fake "I am one of you". This latest demonstration of her shallowness is outrageous. She has to write the 3 most important things she wants to remember on her hand. MY GOD. She should know what is important to her if she knows nothing else. Can you imagine her making decisions as the president of the united states????? How many hands would she have to enlist to stand next to her to help her remember what she is talking about.
Well said! I couldn't agree more….there are not enough hands, this I know. I am most concerned about those that support and follow her…how, I continue to ask myself, can anyone be that gullible – that dumb? And I am not calling names when I say that, it IS the proper use of that word.
She would not be the one making the decisons. She would be a puppet controlled by others. Her purpose is to attract the people of this country who like her can't think a logical thought. Her role is to cause smoke screens to cover the real issues to keep people from probing too deeply. She demonstrates her skill at this by engineering controversies to cover her own personal issues. This is not something new, it has been done before and we all watched it, but most did not understand it. Palin is actually a perfect puppet because her main interest is money. That is how they will control her, she has no moral character with which to question the actions of her controllers and she has no brains to understand the real truth about what they are doing.
We should be concerned about the UNETHICAL message that Palin conveys to kids. Cheating !!!
We have to remind kids that reading answers from a crib sheet written on your hand is wrong!
Palin's neglect and exploitation of her children has resulted in teen pregnancies, addiction to drugs and alcohol, and wild partying. Through photographs and video she is sending a message to all American kids – you don't need to study – just cheat!
Also, why nobody cares that 8-year old girl, Piper Palin was campaigning for Perry with her mother, instead of doing homework, reading or playing with kids her age?
Exploiting children by over-exposing them for political gain or personal profit is wrong!

Using words written on her hand is an indication of poor memory/cognitive abilities especially in light of it only being four general terms. Is this why she left so many colleges, either she could not remember or she was cheating? This reminds me of a child with cognitive problems I knew as a child. I did not like board games, but when talked into playing one would agree to play Monopoly. She could not understand how to play the game, yet she always ended up with the most money and houses. She always volunteered to be the banker and then stole houses and money because it was the only way she could win. The rest of us were focused on playing the game according to the rules and since we would never have thought of cheating never realized she was doing so until an adult pointed it out to us. This adult waited quite a while before telling us because she wanted to see if we would figure it out. None of us had the maturity to detect the unethical behavior, just like most of the U.S. public just does not have a clue about who is really controlling this country. They can't see there are those who will do what it takes to get what they want. This is why the population has been dumbed down.
At least there was only one word crossed out, and it wasn't "mandation".

The handprompter was bizarre in her situation because what she wrote are “Rightwing Talking Points 101.” Did she write them as a “touchstone” for those times in the Q&A when she might get lost in the briars and brambles of her own gibberish? She could just look down and put herself back on track and in control?
The worst part of the handprompter was her criticizing PO for using a teleprompter while using note cards and “hand notes” herself. The hypocrisy! Can you even imagine what would happen in the media and rightwing world if PO was ever found to have written notes on his palm before a speech???

Thank you for your support! Yes, it is just more of the Palin version of reality…the woman has unending audacity. I tried to make the point to listeners that I could even understand if at the last minute she had to scribble a bill number or a detail that she may need to refer to…but the notes she made are so general that it should be shocking to all that you would have to remind yourself about them. What a nut!
Whoever stated we need to "go after the machine" that supports Palin is absolutely correct…she is a convenient puppet for someone with a lot of dough. This needs to be exposed.
