Imprecatory Prayers Commercialized Against President Obama

These are NO joke! I have written about these before and will continue to hammer this as an extremely serious threat.

Rachel Maddow had Frank Schaeffer on her show over at MSNBC again tonight. Listen carefully to how seriously he admonishes us to take heed as to what this imprecatory prayer genuinely means. This is truly frightening and we MUST not brush this off as rhetoric.

You’re right…none of it! This is a direct call to the wingnuts who are teabagging ‘c’hristian hatriots wherein lies a percentage of people who will take this as a mandate to assassinate the president in the name of God.

We have had this discussion before when I posted one of the imprecatory prayers levied against Mikey Weinstein and Reverend Barry Lynn by Lt. Col. Klingenschmitt, former Navy chaplain. I will end this post today with a re-posting below for those who have not heard the call for Weinstein’s and Lynn’s demise using the same Psalm 109. Klingenschmitt reads this Psalm which is as follows:

Psalm 109:8 “Let his days be few. And let another take his office.”

Psalm 109:9 “Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow.”
