This seems like the perfect article for Halloween, especially in light of the fact that it is the religious zealots of Christianity that scream the loudest about the demonic and evil undertones of this holiday. I will share with you an excerpt from an article on an emerging twisted perspective that essentially asserts that there exists such a thing as a “Christian DNA”. You either have it, or you don’t.
The New Apostolic Reformation, Adam-Kadmon, and DNA

“Have you noticed lately that most of the big names in the Prophetic and Apostolic Movement are increasingly sprinkling the term DNA into their vocabulary? No longer content to hide their damnable heresies, they are brazenly flaunting their apostasy to the unsuspecting church through their use of double speak. It is a known fact that nothing is harder to find than something hidden in plain sight.
To understand the serious implications of their use of the term DNA, it is important to understand that the Dominionist doctrine embraced by an increasing number of apostate ministries is straight from the occult. From the very seeds of civilization, Gnostic sects and keepers of the Gnostic Kabalistic dogma have spoken of humankind evolving into a God-like being. The Kabbala calls this being the Adam Kadmon, or “God Man.” The name “Adam” refers to the entire human race and the term “Kadmon” refers to completion.
Thus, Adam Kadmon speaks of a return to our beginning, with all the knowledge, wisdom, and enlightenment of the first “Adam.” Those who embrace this doctrine firmly believe we can return to the Garden of Eden by becoming the Adam Kadmon and creating Heaven on Earth.
One becomes Adam Kadmon through activation of the divine nature. When enough of man kind has activated their divine nature we will evolve and become the “Corporate Christ.” DNA stands for Divine Nature Activation and it is being tossed around in the Christian community like rice at a wedding. Doing a quick online search using the term DNA activation will return a myriad of occult websites for your perusal.
Adherents of these occultic beliefs claim that the inactivated part of our DNA is preventing us from becoming God. They claim we have the divinity and enlightenment of the Adam Kadmon encoded into our DNA. As more and more of us activate this Divine Nature we will corporately become the Adam Kadmon, return to the Garden, and usher in heaven on earth. Is this starting to sound familiar? It should. It is exactly what the false apostles of the prophets of the New Apostolic Reformation teach. It is also what the New Age teaches. The Dominionists cloak their beliefs and their Luciferian agenda in more palatable terms to appeal to the undiscerning. However, it makes no matter what you wrap cyanide in to make it easier to swallow; it is still going to kill you.
For those of you who may not have read previous articles of mine, the names of these “apostles” are discussed throughout my writings with respect to their associations in various ways to Sarah Palin. Dutch Sheets spoke at Palin’s church in January 2009; C. Peter Wagner is a leader in Dominionist Theology; and the others are all intertwined.

Peter warned Christians of destructive and heretical doctrines being brought into the church in II Peter 2:1-3.
But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
Peter is warning the church that these false teachers will bring in false doctrine into alongside the true doctrine and by so doing will bring the Truth into disrepute! The Truth to them will act as bait by which ensnare the undiscerning. Interestingly enough, the words “make merchandise of you” mean to “traffic” or “trade.”
Peter is literally warning the church that these false prophets will use people for money.
The quotes I included from Mishel’s article are indeed from a very successful group of “biblical snake oil” salesmen in the name of God that live well on the backs of those who desperately tithe their last dollars in the hope that they will be rewarded for their giving. Meanwhile, these “apostles” enjoy the lifestyles that range from modest to lavish and the Sheeples keep funding them.
And what are they selling their audience here? That there exists this blurred notion of a lineage of Christian DNA. That is a frightening idea to plant in the minds of followers of this scripture twisted cult. Why does it scare me? Because you have people like Pat Robertson who already view themselves as chosen by God and superior to those who they perceive are not.

Can you imagine what kind of dangerous dogma Robertson and these other leaders of Dominionist Christianity could formulate with this skewed thinking? Doesn’t take much to leap from here to a weeding out selection based on whether you were born with the Christian DNA – or not.
I live in Nashville where we have the TBN studios. I used to work for a Limo Service, a lot of times picking up the TeeVe Preachers and bringing them to the studios or one of their multi-million dollar homes.
I just wanted to let you all know that these so-called Christians live fat off of what people send in to them. They lack absolutely nothing while poverty is really bad around here. TN is one of those states (red) where you have to be around 200% below federal poverty level to even apply for any kind of aid. These mega church pastors do nothing at all to help the poor, homeless and hungry. Nearly all of them have private planes, entourages and Limo service bringing them to the studios where they beg monies from people on fixed incomes who are lonely, aging, desperate for human compassion while they have none.
You are so right, there is no compassion: Wealth and Power Rule. Their egos are bloated, and the followers either do not see it, or they have allowed themselves to be intimidated beyond return. This has happened over and again in recorded history, and it will not end today, unfortunately.
Go back and read about the dark ages of medieval Europe, and you will find the abuses of the Princes of the Church. We shall be destined to relive those horrendous times, in some form or other, unless those of us who are capable of logical thought processes connect and reject in unison those who would use us to further their own unholy lies.

What the.. how dare…. Where in time did they actually lose it?
As a Jesus follower myself this sounds like heresy… Humans don't bring heaven to earth only God does… not even Jesus knew the hour or the day!! I'm amazed at the arrogance, and I'm thinking the tower of Babel was built by a bunch of religious nuts.
And if they can't find it in scripture? They simply make it up! It is the height of arrogance…I agree!

but those who simply make it up are unable to see that. It is that innate supreme arrogance,
(the God Gene?) which mistakenly considers mankind "Chosen" and thus destined to prevail above all other life on this planet, This historically has been the root of s much undeserved suffering, of so much evil. I use the word "evil" with great caution, but here it applies. It is the arrogance of the fundamentalist mindset to think of their adopted dogma as superior, no matter how incongruous. This then leads to represson of all dissenting opinion, no matter how reasoned, for empirical discussion is threatening.
How do we fight back? We must use logic, and while we may become disillusioned about our abilities to change mindsets, we shall have to continue teaching, for this is our only defense against the advance of false dogma.
You are so right! And where we can make the most change and have the greatest impact is on the 70% of Americans who have not bought this 'c'hristian sales job! Re=programming the converted will have to wait. Educating the rest of us is the most important and effective tack we can take at this juncture. They devoutly believe that their god is bigger and better than anyone else' god…and that includes disregard for the faith of non-evangelical mainstream Christian believers.
Take heart…we can and are fighting back, and I am confident in achieving success with the help of all of you. It is disseminating all of this and so much more that will turn the tables and stem their influence and growth. They flourish when hiding in the shadows – let's crank up our spotlights!
Years ago II found an answer to a colleague's prodding to visit his church: "I do not think that God, Whoever She may Be, involves Herself in the everyday affairs of mankind"… to his credit, he did not broach the subject again. I have used that sentence many times since, mainly because it is an "equal opportunity offender", and it drives home ideals of open-mindedness and the need for tolerance. That said, my open-mindedness does not include acceptance of discrimination, mutilation and honor sacrifices of women or anyone else who does not fit the prevailing mold of prevailing belief..
Ancient rituals celebrated Interconnection, the Universal Law of Balance. Einstein, when asked about his religion/ philosophies about the origins of the universe, made a salient point when he commented upon "Das Alte", meaning "That Which Is Old" (Das is gender neutral). If he had meant "The Old One",, he would have used the term "Der Alte", which is masculine. That difference is lost to many. Let's keep up the effort to educate.

There were lots of wonderfully "loony thinkers" in the Alternative nineties. At many concerts I was the lone white haired grandmother… ears ringing… heart pounding… dancing and yelling… hoarse voice… sore muscles the next morning. And you know what? I never had any of the kids give me grief, quite the opposite! Loved it, still do at almost 70. Thanks for the "look-back"!
Actually the BIBLE tells us that we bring Heaven to earth…we have the kingdom of God WITHIN us. (Luke 17:21). Didn't Jesus pray "Your will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven"? He didn't say "let it be done later" he said "let it be done!"

The Pharisees were looking for God to set up His literal Kingdom on earth. They wanted to know when it was coming.
Jesus said it was within us. It is a spiritual kingdom where Jesus is Lord of the lives of all believers. The Kingdom of God is where ever God reigns. If God reigns over your life, then the Kingdom of God is within you.
We don’t bring heaven to earth when we become Christians… God comes to live in us. Heaven is a place.
“Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”
Kingdom is basileia – “used in the N.T. to refer to the reign of the Messiah”
Come is erchomai – “to come into being, arise, come forth, show itself”
Will is thelēma – “what one wishes or has determined shall be done”
Done is ginomai – “to become, i.e. to come to pass, happen”
When Jesus prayed “Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven” it means that God will do His sovereign “will”. All prophecy will be fulfilled. He has determined that Jesus will reign in the future. And we can’t wait so we pray “Even so, come Lord Jesus”.
God also has a perfect will for our lives. Whether we have His will in our lives or not is determined by how much we yield to Him.

Those of us old enough probably remember that song… how appropriate for Hallowe'en… except it already is All Souls' Day in my part of this Blue Marble of our solar system… rituals all.. and more wars and atrocities have been committed in the name of ritualistic differences than over the need for
territory… my mind is reeling… and my thoughts want expression:
How can they even begin to postulate about DNA… when they deny any validity of change beyond that written "infallible" word of the bible… when they try to replace scientific research with the hubris, the hokus pokus of their wilfull ignorance… no matter how hard I try… I do not find logic when those deniers of scientific progress conveniently consult the medical/scientific establishment when they sicken and become fearful of the pain inherent in death and dying.
