We all know that the morsels of misinformation and constant attacks against anything and everything Obama, being smattered across Sarah Palin’s Facebook are not by her own hand. Or from her cerebral lobe either, for that matter. Palin is hiding behind this ghostwriter who has a consistent style unlike any of her previously written material, spoken word, Facebook or Twitter entries. This “new” more articulate, albeit still misinformed Pen O’ Palin, is surfacing in the written press and even as her written “testimony” for the New York legislature…
(How is that even legal…by the way?)
The only ones fooled by her shenanigans are her devoted followers. Everyone speculates about where she is holed up writin’ her autobiography with the ghostwriter assigned to her by Zondervan Christian Publishing. Wherever it is – it’s not far enough away. “Her” response to the President’s speech on Health Care Reform tonight forced me back to my keyboard at this late hour, where I write my own material created from my own thoughts. I won’t even dignify the garbage on her Facebook page by citing any of it here. You will see it all over the media.
That is why I don’t want to hear another person tell me that she has no relevance. I am forced to pay attention to her because of her effect on the uninformed masses of Sheeples in America who are too lazy to learn on their own, but will hang on her every word and obstruct forward progress for real reforms in this country. As our President said tonight Ms. Palin…”This is NOT a game!”
Do I sound angry? Well, I am…and after watching President Obama’s speech to the joint House and Senate tonight, and listening to the crass politics from the republicans attempt to turn a traditonally dignified forum into a rendition of their hate-inspired Town Hall disruptions – I became more disgusted.
And I am not referring only to Congressman Joe Wilson, (R) South Carolina, shouting “Liar” at the President of the United States in front of
the entire world! – which is not only shocking but the height of disrespect and a total reveal of the absolute ignorance that has taken the GOP like a virus. Wilson’s was the only remark that was loud enough to capture. There were plenty of boos and utterances from the “elephant pen” in addition to this politician from the blackened-eye state of South Carolina.
Class acts – aren’t they? These ‘c’hristian members of God’s Own Party?
The GOP already had one prominent face of ignorance in this country…in the form of an obnoxious rash known as Sarah Palin that won’t go away no matter what you do…and is as annoying as hell! Now their gallery of faces just expanded exponentially. The more I think about it the more disgusted I get…shame on them!

Well, if its any comfort, leah, when palin comes tumbling down with that big iceberg that set to hit, I think some of these stinky politicians will be in the limelight with her. I feel a day of reckoning coming.
Sanford isn't going to last out the year. Kristin has already resigned her post. Joe Wilson should be nervous about his announced opponant. Daily Kos has a big push to raise money for him.

Indeed it does. LOTS of work. We have got to quit being so damn nice. We don't have to get down in the "elephant pen" and mud wrestle with them…but we need to stop be the concession seekers! Sometimes we need to roll up our sleeves and so what we were put there to do…consensus be damned! But we are truly heading for a perfect storm to our favor…and Palin will indeed be a fatality of that political triumph.

By "they", I mean the NAR fundies themselves.
Whew! I thought that was what you meant, but realized it could be read to mean the opposite. And you are exactly right. To my mind, progressives do a much better job of recognizing and working with those shades of gray. The conservatives have actually conducted campaigns to rid their party of 'gray' republicans. (Texas 2002, for one example)

Yes…and if a Democrat had lost his mind and decorum like that when Bush claimed hi sreason for going into Iraq was due to Weapons of Mass Destruction? That member would have been ejected from the chambers and very likely detained as a treasonist.

Leah, this is one of the great ironies and coverups of history. Here we have Christianity: founded by the death-worshipping mystagogues of Rome (who embraced Persian Mithraism-of which much of the symbolism/story is derived) who later became the Roman Church. Then, established by an assassin, Constintine the Great; and further enforced by Theodosius. As for Jesus, if he actually exisisted, would have been very much of a revolutionary against Roman occupation and usurption of his homeland; not some ineffectual "soter" floating on a cload.
Here is follow-up to my previous reply: Jesus, being a Pharasic Jew of 1st century Judaea C.E., would not understand or identify with these post-modern fascists. Consider the words put in his mouth-(by later pro-Roman writers)-"…ye are of your father the devil, etc…" Do yo really think that he, as a Jew, would demonize the very people of which he was a part? This is obviously the handiwork of anti-Semtic, pro-Roman writers, who exonerated the Romans and demonized the Jews; not to mention the overiding political reality of the day: the brutal occupation of Judaea by the Romans.
Obama mentioned that he will "call them out" if they continue to try to hold back progress. I really hope that he sticks to that. The GOP truly are "class acts". I thought that the way that Obama reacted to the outburst was awesome.

What is this "church of christ"? Is this one of the whacko religious groups also? Was at a party last night, asked a guy from this church if his kids (8, 10) saw the President's speech to the students and he had a "Faux News" reaction to me.
Yes, Church of Christ is a non-denominational evangelical creation…and most definitely not a mainstream Christian Church…but rather an extremist 'c'hristian "church".
And anybody who listens to F News, and gives it ANY credence, is someone to avoid eye contact with and just walk away.
